Yeah I saw these last night. I do like the Mustang over the Aurora and apparently those with Auroras will be able to trade it in for a Mustang at some point. The Javelin looks pretty nice too...a very Battlestar Galactica feel to it.

it looks like they ripped it off battlestar galatica.

Do we know how much these ships can be pimped within their type with rare mods/etc .or
are they all going to be basically the same?

I ask as one of the things that was sweet about eve was that you could pimp out some t1 frigates/cruisers such that it was a beast at damage/tackling/damage tanking. not as good as t2 stuff but very solid, which was important since people are more likely to attack you if you look like noobs.

You'll be able to swap out a lot of different modules in order to set your ship up for various tasks and roles. For example, a base 300i can be fitted to become a 315p for exploring or a 325a for dogfighting and so on.

well apparently out of 10, the stuff currently equipped on the ships is rated like 3/10 in terms of quality or  so.

also on the ships spec page: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/ship-specs
you will notice some shops have a max power plan of like 4 but only have a 3, or have a max thruster rating of 5 but have only 4.4 thruster's equipped stock.

Pretty eager to see the size comparison between the Javelin and ships we already have like the Constellation.

Destroyers typically don't carry fighters in internal bays so that's an odd design choice but w/e... looks cool.

I have 2 auroras and will be trading one in for a mustang, probably. Depends what deal we get for trading in non-standard auroras :)

Those blacked out ships are supposedly destroyer/cruiser/battleship classed that were based off concept art.

Both of my ships are dinky D:

Ships above a certain size cannot be docked inside a hangar and cannot land on a planet so they must always be protected even when their owner is logged out. I imagine that protection will be an interesting mechanic especially when it comes time to raid and steal one ;)

Also... According to the most recent Jump Point the Idris got a size upgrade, wooo
